I'm not a glutton.
Let's just get that clear to start off with.
I'm not the person who indulges in midnight snacks, as well as wolfing down pizzas for breakfast.
I am obese though. I also have to do something about it.
My biggest flaw when it comes to food is not just my love for it. It's my defense mechanism. I don't drink anymore - but if I feel bad about something, I tend to eat. It comforts me!
So if you saw me today, you would understand that I have been sad for a while now :o)
Here's where I stand now.
My waist - around 50" (at least)
Shirts - 4XL
Weight - 320 lbs (at least)
I've been dabbling with dieting, and have tried a lot of different things - but I truly lack the willpower - until now that is.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life - no more fried, fatty foods (goodbye Bojangles!).
I will use this blog to document what I have done, and the effect that it has had on me.
Not only with this motivate me to keep at it, but hopefully it will prove useful to others like me out there. Let's see.
Anyway, this is my introductory post - let's start!
